As you may know we started Importing Evo’s from Japan in 1995, subsequently forming Ralliart UK in 1999 till 2002 when we sold the name back to Mitsubishi UK, so we have reasonable knowledge of the range I’m sure you would agree.
Since the early days, development of the Evo Lancer has always been Motorsport driven up to the introduction of the X model which was engineered to provide the speed and handling the Evo has been renowned for,.....

Readers of the latest Total Evo Mag will have read the road test of our Evo X Xtreme 450 and we trust they will be suitably impressed with the journalists road test review. Now being eligible for Saga membership however and though loving the huge performance of the car and the WRC like popping and crackling of the 5" Scorpion exhaust I do find the constant drone a little wearing after a while......

If you are following the development progress on our Evo X "Xtreme 400" yesterday saw the installation of the replacement 16 500bhp Clutch Plates and Rings and 2 Viton Seal sets. The car currently runs a standard size Turbo that has been gas flowed and strengthened Big Foot kit. We also have a stock Turbo with Roller Bearing upgrade by Turbo Dynamics to compare with and both will be tried on the Rolling Road and Road Tested too (as we know the best Dyno results don’t necessarily provide the best on road performance)
The next few weeks will see the ECUTEK map being finalized and the final specification decided on following testing,.....

Regular visitors to our facility may have seen our Evo X Xtreme 400 SST development Car, progress to date is very good, our highly acclaimed Evo X Brake upgrade has been fitted along with a set of Adjustable Intrax Dampers ( I will write a separate feature on these ) both these upgrades providing a big Improvement in handling and Braking performance......

The latest Evo X Braking system is a significant improvement over that of earlier Evo variants, it comprises of larger diameter Discs with separate bells at the front, and stronger calipers too. The latest SST model however weighs in at a close to 200kgs over the Evo IX so a brake re-design was an essential part of the engineering,.....

As many Evo X enthusiasts know the superb twin clutch SST gearbox is fabulous to use with its super smooth lightning quick operation. Sadly however power up-grades have been limited with this model due to concerns over the gearbox ability to cope with any additional power, indeed some customers have reported their standard power car dropping in to limp mode on Track Days,.....
